We've Got a New Craft Sale Coming Up!

On Dec. 5, 2015, I will be participating in a huge event in Henderson, NV and I couldn't be more excited! My ruffled scarves, jams and salsa, doggie treats (of course) and a new item, reflective candles, will be at my booth. My pendants (above) won't be there but I just wanted you to see how pretty the last batch turned out. It's going to be fun.

I pulled a couple of our own jams, preserves and salsa from the fridge to give you an idea of how pretty they will be. These are <back>: Plum Jam and Salsa  <front> Mixed Fruit Preserves and Strawberry Jam.

And yes it will be the return of the bevy of ruffled scarves to make a demand appearance! I believe I have over a dozen colors now and all are soft and purty!

Once I make the candles, I will post a photo here too. This is going to be totally awe-some!

Cre8ive Endeavours and Homespun Treats & Treasures to Appear at Decadence in the Desert

Here are some of the items I have completed for the "Decadence in the Desert" Art/Craft show on Thursday evening, 4 - 8 pm, at Ethel M's Chocolate Factory Garden Botanical Cactus Garden. It's my first public exposure and it's a good thing that I have a friend who's an excellent artist sharing the booth with me! Also featured will be original poetry, 3 clay dragons, ruffled designer scarves, other hats and scarves, slippers plus CHARLIE'S FAVORITE DOG BISCUITS:

Today is the Day!

Working on the Poster, Making Biscuits and Gettin' it Done!

Good Morning!

The business plan is now set and costs with handling fees will be posted soon. More ingredients are needed because of the evident interest and folks already asking to purchase these wholesome treats, plus the camera needs batteries so folks will know what they are getting when they place an order! I have a poster prepared with room for these photos and it also lists ingredients. Exciting times, and just think - you are in on the "ground floor!"

The Big Six

Good Morning!

I got up early and figured out my "Big Six" dog biscuit recipes. They are: Elvis Pupsley Biscuits, Pumpkin Pizzazz, Tail Waggers, Puppy Paws, Barkley's Blueberry-Apple Biscuits and Charlie's Mini Carrot Pupcakes :) I am drying my own blueberries as I type this. Charlie will be in 'hog heaven' for the next while as I perfect these recipes before offering them for sale.

The plan is to sell these treats in variety packs of 6 or 12 biscuits. I am still working on the financial aspect, and shipping logistics, but I plan to box them in cute tins or boxes as part of the presentation.

Once everything is figured out, and my camera is once more functional. I will post pictures of these treats here and in my Little Cook blog as well as the Facebook Page. The operation should be a 'go' within the next week.

My first attempts at a dog biscuit. "Elvis Pupsley"

is in the house with this wholesome blend of 

peanut butter, a touch of honey, an egg, flour 

a mashed banana and just a pinch of salt. It's

definitely Charlie-approved, which says a lot 

when you have a finicky treat-eater! Details for 

purchase will follow after I the other treats, biscuits and cookies for the 6- and 12-packs.
